"When we initiated our search for a new data processing system we wrote down all the critical things we wanted and explored nine vendor products looking for them.  We wanted a true windows environment for ease of use and training. We didn't want our employees memorizing transaction codes or guessing at them.  We wanted the ability to "double click" and "drill down" and we didn't want to print mountains of paper reports.  Also, we wanted an open system to easily interface with third party, particularly Microsoft applications.  Recall my selection team voted 6 to 0 for NewSolutions.

The teller platform, new accounts, GL and back office functions like batch payrolls, batch fees, ACH and share draft processing could not be better.  We recognize the LAPS module and the Reports module are works-in-process and we are anxiously awaiting the new improvements your staff is currently working on.  The bang for the buck is considerable too.  Not only do we have a far better product overall; we were able to reduce our monthly data processing expense by 35% while introducing new products to our members like on-line debit cards and on-line Home Banking.  Also, our workload has been reduced.  People outside our credit union are amazed when I tell them that we brought our data processing system in-house and still managed to reduce workload and staff but its true!
